Acceptable Use Policy

KovaMail is a tool for legitimate business communication. This policy describes what you may and may not do with our service.
1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of KovaMail and supplements our Terms of Service. By using KovaMail, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use KovaMail to:
2.1 Spam and Unsolicited Email
- Send unsolicited bulk email ("spam") to any recipient
- Send commercial email to recipients who have not explicitly opted in
- Use purchased, rented, or harvested email lists
- Send email that violates the CAN-SPAM Act or equivalent laws in your jurisdiction
2.2 Fraud and Deception
- Send phishing email designed to steal credentials or financial information
- Impersonate any person, organization, or brand
- Use forged or misleading email headers
- Conduct any form of fraud or deception
- Send emails promoting scams, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent investment opportunities
2.3 Malicious Content
- Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious code
- Send emails containing exploit code or malicious attachments
- Facilitate attacks on any computer system or network
2.4 Harassment and Harmful Content
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse any individual
- Send content that constitutes hate speech targeting protected characteristics
- Send or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — violations will be reported to NCMEC and law enforcement immediately
- Send content that incites violence against any person or group
2.5 Illegal Activity
- Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation
- Facilitate illegal drug sales or distribution
- Facilitate human trafficking or exploitation
- Send email in violation of export control laws
2.6 System Abuse
- Attempt to circumvent our security measures, rate limits, or authentication systems
- Use KovaMail to test or scan for vulnerabilities in third-party systems without authorization
- Engage in activities that degrade service performance for other users
- Use KovaMail as a relay for sending email from unauthorized sources
⚠️ Zero tolerance: Any use of KovaMail to distribute CSAM, conduct phishing attacks, or send ransomware will result in immediate permanent termination and referral to law enforcement.
3. Email Volume and Sending Practices
KovaMail is designed for business communication, not bulk marketing. If you need to send high-volume marketing email, please use a dedicated email marketing platform (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo). Accounts showing bulk sending patterns inconsistent with normal business use may be suspended.
4. Domain Requirements
You must own or have legal authorization to use any domain you register with KovaMail. Registering domains you do not control, or domains intended to impersonate another organization, is prohibited and will result in immediate termination.
5. Reporting Violations
If you receive abusive email sent through KovaMail, or if you believe a KovaMail account is being used in violation of this policy, please report it to:

Please include the full email headers in your report. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
6. Consequences of Violations
Depending on the severity of the violation, we may:
- Issue a warning and require corrective action
- Temporarily suspend your account
- Permanently terminate your account without refund
- Report violations to law enforcement or relevant authorities
- Block your domain from future use of KovaMail
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will notify you by email before material changes take effect. The current version is always available at getkovamail.com/aup.html.
